Our story

PlaceIt started as a shared ambition among a group of friends. After graduating from KU Leuven, we knew we didn’t just want to land "any" job, we wanted to build something of our own that would make a genuine impact. We wanted to solve real problems and define our own path. The spark happened in the summer of 2025, where we committed ourselves to brining PlaceIt to life.

Our team is a melting pot of backgrounds, from computer science and engineering to data science and AI. We bring together a unique blend of technical skills and creative passion, allowing us to approach challenges from different angles.

Today, from our base in Belgium, our mission is clear: to revolutionize space planning and design through AI. We're building intelligent tools that transform photos into accurate 2D layouts, generate interactive 3D scenes, and enable real-time furniture placement and manipulation, empowering designers to move from concept to visualization in minutes, not days.
